These images are from the camera fixed in the upstairs office window of the property office next to the construction site. It took a photo of the construction site every 5 minutes during the day between March 2006 and April 2007, creating a time-lapse record. This consists of over 43,000 images! We have made a movie, and some stills are shown here so you can see change over the project life.
We've also added the original sketch designs for the building. These were developed for the project by Kendal based architect Paul Crosby in 2004, from which the Trust's Building Team produced detailed plans for the building we now see on site.
