After the walls were up, they had to be tidied, given haircuts and generally neatened ready for plastering. Hedge trimmers, shears, angle grinders and nail scissors, along with NT staff and some volunteers did the job. There is also the capacity to be creative with the straw, creating shelves and alcoves.
