Training Courses
The training for car tyre foundation laying, straw and early cob wall construction, and lime and clay plastering was led by Amazon Nails.
They comprised:
- 5 days car tyre foundation laying
- 3 sets of 5 day straw and cob wall construction
- 1 day clay and lime render panel testing
- 5 days straw wall only construction
- 5 sets of 3 day lime and clay plastering
In addition, there was a weekend of oak shake roofing training.
One way or another over 140 different people took part in the formal training events, putting in 325 labour days between them.
Throughout the whole year The Project Team were completely blown away by the enthusiasm, hard work, positive responses and evident enjoyment of those who took part.
